Payments by supplier report

The Payments by Supplier report shows how much cash you actually paid to each supplier over a period. It is the purchase-side mirror of Payments by Customer.

Before you begin

  • Sign in and select your organisation. The report is available on every plan.
  • Figures are shown in your functional currency.
  • The report is on a cash basis: it counts Posted supplier payments by payment date. Draft and voided payments are excluded.

Open the report

  1. Go to Reports and, under Purchases, open Payments by Supplier.
  2. Choose a period with the Reporting Period selector (a preset such as This quarter, or a custom From/To range).

How to read it

Three summary cards show the totals for the period:

  • Grand Total Paid — total posted supplier payments, in your functional currency.
  • Suppliers Paid — how many suppliers you paid.
  • Payments — the total number of payments.

The Payments per Supplier table lists one row per supplier, with:

  • Supplier — the supplier name.
  • Payments — the number of payments to that supplier.
  • Total paid — the total, in your functional currency.
  • Last payment — the date of the most recent payment.

What counts here

  • Included: supplier payments with a status of Posted, dated within the period.
  • Excluded: draft and voided payments. Amounts use the exchange rate that was locked when each payment was posted.

If your range starts before your records on Sales Scribe begin, the Total paid heading says records from 31 Mar 2026 only, with your date. Payments made before then are in the system you used previously. See Reports for dates before your opening position.

Export

Select Export CSV to download the per-supplier figures, with a header block recording the report, organisation, basis, period and currency.
