Yes — upgrade or downgrade whenever your team changes size. Plan limits (users and organisations) apply from the moment you switch.

Yes. Every plan — including the free Starter plan — posts to the same double-entry ledger, with the same reports and the same VAT handling. Plans differ by team size and number of organisations, not by correctness.

Nothing to run a practice, and nothing to work in the books of clients who pay for their own plan. If you'd rather include the software in your fee, sponsor the client on a Client Edition plan: one organisation each, priced per organisation per month and billed to your firm. The client can take billing back at any time.
