The supplier account page
The supplier Account page is a financial dashboard for one supplier: what you owe them, how overdue it is, and their recent bills, payments and credit notes. The supplier's profile — contact people and addresses — lives on the supplier's own page, one click away via the Contacts & Addresses button. It is the purchases-side counterpart of the customer account page.
Before you begin
- Sign in with the correct Organization selected.
- Open the page for any existing supplier — including archived ones, whose history is often exactly what you want to review.
Open the Account page
- Go to Contacts → Suppliers and select View Account (the wallet icon) in the Actions column, or use the Supplier Account button on the supplier's page.
What is on the page
Header — the supplier's name, status, account number, email, phone and currency. The buttons at the top right are New Purchase Order, Record Payment and Contacts & Addresses (which opens the supplier's profile page).
Financial Summary — headline figures in your organisation's currency:
- Total Outstanding and Overdue — issued, unpaid bills, with their counts
- Unallocated Payments — money you have paid that is not yet matched to bills
- Billed This Year and Paid This Year — this calendar year. In your first year on Sales Scribe, if your records begin after 1 January, both say records from 31 Mar 2026 only, with your date. Bills brought across in your opening position are balances, not purchases, so they are not counted as billed.
- Credit Notes total and count
Ageing — outstanding bills split into Current (not yet due), 1-30, 31-60, 61-90 and > 90 days overdue.
Tabs — Bills, Payments and Credit Notes list the supplier's most recent items (up to 25 each), with a View action opening the full document. The complete lists live under the Purchases and Payments menus.
